Hey there. This is it - the entire blog, compressed into a single, self-contained HTML page. No database, no build step, no bloat. Just pure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Posts and dates live right in the markup.

I'm hosting this on found.as, and all media (photos) are served via ssh.is-ne.at. The UI follows Google's Material 3 design language - specifically the clean, polished vibe of PixelOS.

Here's a little visual taste. All media below is pulled from the CDN - fast, simple, and ephemeral.

So uhh... This entire thing is completely vibecoded. But it required HEAVY (and i mean HEAVY) prompting and refining.

If your life *depends* on hating AI - leave. Im NOT gonna code on my mobile with a soft keyboard. And it DOESNT mean i just blindly trust AI.

Every time I show this thing to someone, the first question is the same: "Where's the comment section?" Followed by the inevitable "How do people engage?"

They don't. Not here.

This is a single HTML file. No database. No server-side logic. No API routes. Comments require at least one of those three, and I'm not about to bolt on a Disqus embed just so strangers can yell at me about CSS variables. If I added a comment system, it would need a backend, a database, moderation queues, spam filters, and eventually a GDPR-compliant privacy policy because Disqus sells your grandma's browsing history to ad-tech firms.

That's not minimalism - that's feature creep with a privacy nightmare attached.

But it's not just technical. Comment sections had their moment. They were fun in 2008 when blogs were social networks. Now? They're SEO spam farms, reply-guy breeding grounds, or empty wastelands where zero people say anything meaningful. The signal-to-noise ratio is so bad that disabling them isn't anti-social - it's self-defense.

If you actually want to talk to me, the contact modal exists. The email link exists. The XMPP endpoint exists. You can reach me. But you have to want to reach me. You have to open your mail or chat client, type words, and hit send. That friction filters out 99% of drive-by toxicity.

This blog isn't a platform. It's a document. A time capsule. A one-way broadcast from my brain to the web, compressed into ~30KB of markup that will still render in 2036 when whatever JavaScript framework is trending today has been forgotten.
